	Ceremony Information

You’re ready to start preparing the music for your wedding ceremony, but you don’t know what music you’d like to have for the different parts of the ceremony? Or what might be appropriate? Or maybe you don’t know what the different parts even are!

That’s ok, ‘A DJ And More’ has put together a list below of the various parts of the ceremony and if you click on the headers it will take you to a page where we’ve provided a list of traditional music.


		Prelude This is the period of time when people arrive and start taking their seats.

	Pre-processional This is played as the family members are ushered to their seats and just before the wedding party enters.

		Processional Entrance music for the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

		Bride’s Entrance The event everyone has been waiting for! The bride’s entrance is likely one of the most dramatic moments of the evening.


	Ceremony/Unity Candle While not typical, you can add music during this part of the ceremony to heighten the atmosphere.

	Recessional The part of there ceremony where the Bride, Groom and wedding party leave the room.

		Interlude/Postlude The period of time between the end of the ceremony and the start of the reception.
